At The Hot Corner Group, we reflect the best values of the hospitality industry. We will develop the next generation of leaders, helping them to build on their skills and have a positive impact on any organization they join. We remain focused on building a culture of positivity, development, accountability and action in the organizations we work with. We play an active role within our community and seek out organizations to partner with who reflect our values.
Kellen Duryea has nearly 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry and 10+ years in management. During this time, he has learned what it takes to build teams and cultures that create lasting positive impacts on businesses. An Omaha native, Kellen began his career in hospitality while attending school at The University of Kansas. In 2010, he moved to Kansas City where he has been involved in every aspect of some of the largest bars, restaurants and events in the city.
Always passionate about giving back to his community, Kellen believes in the importance of being part of the community he works in and that a team is only as good as the training they receive. The Hot Corner Group is an extension of that belief and what Kellen strives to pass on. His knowledge and to build and recruit the next generation of leaders as well as broaden the reach of the principles of the hospitality industry.
